COVID-19 Update

July 16th, 2021

We look forward to welcoming you back… again! We thank you for your patience and support as we strive to create the best experience for you and your family.

Reduced Schedule for Enhanced Cleaning
While live escape games will be available, our reduced schedule will allow us to have more time to thoroughly clean the space before the next team begins.

Extreme Private Bookings
As always, games will be privately booked for your bubble team and, for now, we will be hosting only one game at a time. This means when you are in the space, the front door will be locked and no other group will enter or play until your group leaves. (Note: To encourage small bubbles and social distancing, 2 Player games will also be temporarily available at $35/person.)

For Everyone’s Safety
We will be wearing masks and we ask you to please do the same. All payments, refunds and waivers will be completed online. Common areas (lobby, washrooms, etc.) will be sanitized regularly.

Self Screen
Before you arrive please self screen using Ontario’s Online Self-Assessment. If it recommends that you enter into self-isolation or quarantine or if you are feeling ill… Please stay home. We will refund your game.

Thanks again for your support and we look forward to seeing you soon! If you are interested in booking a game outside of our regular hours of if you have any questions or concerns please contact us: info@complexrooms.com.

April 13th, 2021

As Ontario implements a ‘province wide emergency brake’… Complex Rooms is once again pausing in-person Escape Rooms. While we are disappointed that we can’t welcome you into our space, we hope to challenge you at home with live escapes, online adventures and mobile games. Thank you for your ongoing support and, once again, we’ll see you soon.

November 21st, 2020

As our Region moves to Red we have made the difficult decision to pause on our regularly scheduled in-person Escape Rooms (beginning Monday November 23rd) and focus on our online and at-home puzzling adventures.

While we are disappointed that we can’t welcome you into our space, we believe that this is the best way to support the ongoing community efforts to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

So, as the weather gets cooler and bubbles get smaller, we encourage (and challenge) you to check out our current at-home offerings as well as our new games and puzzles that we’ll continue to launch.

As always, we thank you for your support and, once again, we’ll see you soon.

July 13th, 2020

We are getting ready to reopen!! But… to make sure that we’re doing it right, we’re not going to rush.

When we do open our doors we will start by accepting only true private bookings. This means only your group will be in the space and, to give us enough time to properly sanitize the room, each game will be played only once per day.

Is there anything else that we can do as we welcome you back? If you have any comments, questions or suggestions please contact us info@complexrooms.com.

Thanks for your support and we look forward to seeing you soon.

March 16th, 2020

In support of community efforts to reduce the spread of COVID-19, we have decided to temporarily shut down our Escape Rooms as of today, Monday March 16th.

While we would love to welcome you into our space we must pause on these experiences until it is safe to resume.

Over the next few weeks, if you are still looking for a ‘complex game’ we encourage you to check out our mobile games (https://complexrooms.com/mobile/) that you can enjoy at home with family. (No group gatherings please.)

As always, thank you for your support and we’ll see you soon.

March 13th, 2020

With growing concerns around COVID-19 we, at Complex Rooms, wanted to reach out and update you on our status, procedures and thinking.

First of all… The health, safety and peace of mind of our community is at the top of our priorities. Everything that we do will be to support you and keep you safe. Because of this we are constantly monitoring the situation and may adjust our policies as new information is released. If you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to contact us: info@complexrooms.com

While we are still offering our full range of escape rooms, we are reducing the number of games offered each day. This action will reduce your contact with other guests and allow our staff to properly and thoroughly reset and clean the rooms between each game. This cleaning will include our common areas as well as the props, locks and key surfaces within each game.

While we are still asking you to arrive on time, please be patient if we’re not quite ready for you. We are determined to give you the best experience possible and we don’t want to rush anything that might jeopardize this experience.

Games can be booked as usual through our website (www.complexrooms.com) and, as always you’ll be able to change your group size right up to your game time. If you or a member of your team is feeling unwell we encourage you to contact us to reschedule your game. There will be no penalty or fee for making this choice. Please be safe and consider yourself and others as you make your decision.

We thank you… Our friends, community and guests for your incredible support and we look forward to welcoming you soon.
